Developing User-Experience Guidelines for Adults with ADHD
My Master-thesis presents the process, learnings and outcomes of exploring adult ADHD in the context of user-experience design and assistive technologies. By conducting user-centered design related activities throughout the process of the thesis, it was possible to develop some new insights about adult ADHD and how designers can more effectively design products for this under-served user-group.
One of the main goals of this work was to identify what we as designers and practitioners need to take into consideration when designing user experiences for adults with ADHD. The result is a set of initial guidelines and an application prototype incorporating the guidelines.
